Notes: Now known as Clutha Views Lifecare after a name change in March last year, the 70-bed rest home on Essex St was purpose-built in 1991. It opened with 27 beds.
It 1993, it was purchased by John and Terry McMillan, and in 1995, an additional 21 beds were added, along with extra lounges and sitting areas.
In July 1996, the hospital wing was opened, with 26 beds.
