Rode the lightening into the night on Thursday, 9 November 2017 after a courageous battle, with his girls and loved ones by his side. Forever loved soulmate to Michele, cherished father and father-in-law of Jacinta and Neill, Leaha, Gabrielle and Callum, and adored Grandad to Zai, Aria, Seth and Ella. Loved son of Arnold and the late Lorna Dewe. Brett will be resting at home, 25 Rodney Street, Invercargill, until his send off which will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street, on Monday, 13 November at 11.30am, the funeral will conclude with the cremation at the Southland Crematorium, Rockdale Road. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Southland would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
