  	In loving memory of our dear Dad, William Hnery Ward died 18 December 1942 aged 78 years; also Mum, Elizabeth Alice Ward died 16th December 1945 aged 80 years. Remembered by their loving daughters.
  Notes	Children born UK Christine(Annie) 1888; Alice 1890; Born Pahaoa Wairarapa coast Suzanna Elizabeth (Lizzie); Agnes 17/7/1897; Polly; Margaret 1900: William came out to NZ by himself after Alice was born he won a section in a ballot in Pongaroa but lost it some time later. Elizabeth and her two children saved to come out and came out in early - mid 1890s got another ballot in Elizabeth's name in Range Road Pongaroa. Eliz had lost the front of her hair in a spinning machine -see wedding photo.
