- FLETT, Desmond Colin (Des). On July 11th 2015 suddenly at Tauranga Hospital, surrounded by family after a courageous battle. Aged 67 years. Beloved husband, best friend and soul mate of Lyn for 45 years. Best dad and father in-law of Mark and Angela, Paula and Allan, and Shane and Olivia. Dearest poppy of Conor and Tiana; Jordon; and Pippa and Max. A service to celebrate Des' life will be held at St. Peter's Anglican Church, Beach Road, Katikati on Thursday July 16th at 11am followed by interment in the Katikati Public Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Katikati St. John Ambulance, PO Box 301, Katikati would be appreciated and maybe left at the service. Communications to the Flett family, C/- PO Box 108, Waihi 3641.
